Welcome to the 1st MCDM South Summer School
The MCDM South Summer School (MCDM-SSS 2026) is an annual international educational initiative dedicated to promoting excellence in Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) and Multiple Criteria Decision Aid (MCDA).
The South Summer School provides participants a comprehensive introduction to state-of-the-art multicriteria decision methods, covering their theoretical foundations, practical applications, and supporting software tools. Through lectures, hands-on sessions, interactive discussions, and collaborative case studies, participants will gain both conceptual knowledge and practical experience in applying these methods to real-world decision problems.
The program also offers a unique environment for interaction with internationally recognized researchers working at the forefront of the field, fostering the exchange of ideas, interdisciplinary learning, and the development of networks and future research collaborations.
Goals of the Summer School
The main objective of the MCDM South Summer School is to provide participants with a solid understanding of contemporary multicriteria decision methods and their applications in addressing complex real-world decision problems.
Specific goals include:
